OVERVIEW



The underground kingdom is in deep trouble. The Great Evil has come and driven the dwarves out of their home. The elders discussed the situation and chose two dwarves that are able to resist the Evil and to defeat it.

You are to play for two courageous dwarves who have embarked on a dangerous adventure. One of them is a magician and the other is a warrior. Using various weapons you are to drive the Evil from the ancient caves so that all the dwarves could resume work.

To strengthen your incantations you have to find Power Orbs. There are four types of power orbs: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. If you find a power orb you can use it as a weapon. To make power orbs work you have to collect diamonds that are sources of energy for the orbs.

There are four basic types of diamonds:

Green for earth
And Red for fire.
Blue for water
White for air.

Each of these diamonds adds 5 energy units to your orb.
Light Blue diamond adds 3 units for air and water, Purple diamond adds 3 units for fire and earth.
Each orb consists of three levels. Consequently, you will have a total of 12 different incantations for each of the dwarves!

To finish the game you are to pass many levels. On each level you are to find 3 big key diamonds (Green, Red, White). With these keys are can open the large stone door.

Be aware of the monsters, which are very cunning!

Brave Dwarves requires DirectX 7.0 or better. DirectX enhances Windows with advanced multimedia capabilities. If you do not have DirectX installed on your system, you can download it from www.microsoft.com. DirectX comes pre-installed with all copies of Windows 98 SE and later, so most likely it is already installed on your system.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To install the game onto your hard drive, run the setup program, and follow the on-screen installation instructions to proceed. You will be asked to enter the path to the directory on your hard drive where you wish to install the game files, or to accept the default choice. The installation program will copy the files to your hard drive and create a Start Menu folder for the game. To play the game, simply open the program folder, and select the game icon.
